Oil Study No 2 - Project 100
Here is the second painting for Project 100.
The gorgeous Teal vase is a Carstens Tōnnieshof Pitcher from West Germany dated between 1950-1960’s purchased from an Op Shop!
This time I gessoed the surface and applied a quick wash of burnt umber. The palette consisted of Titanium White, Arylide Lemon, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Caribbean Blue and Teal.
I would like to thank Sue Poulson for surprising me with a lovely bunch of daffodils as recognition of hope for all who have been, or are affected by cancer.
