Oil Study No 10 - Project 100
I worked in Mt Gambier for a while, and took this photo of the twin prop Rex plane prior to boarding. I always enjoyed travelling for work, but I never liked leaving my family for too long, or eating alone in a restaurant. I travelled a lot for work so painting this plane was a reminder of that independance, purpose, challenges and success.
I had put this one off for a while as I was worried this would be technically difficult, but I surprised myself and found it easier than expected.
This is painting number 10 of Project 100 (Only 90 to go!)
