I really enjoyed painting this picture. Reindeer are beautiful animals - the way they look, run and bound effortlessly. I have always adored them and remember Bambi vividly!
I was unsure how to tackle painting the receding trees and snow, but I am please with the way this developed into a lovely cold snowy scene. Those last moments of painting twigs and branches laden with snow were a real highlight for me.
In the quick video of the painting process, I tried to pair the music with how I felt as my 3 hour project limit began to tick away!
