Waratahs are a spectacular and iconic Australian native flower which thrive in morning sun.

Waratah, comes from the Eora Aboriginal word 'warada' meaning 'beautiful' or 'seen from afar'. (source: Parks Australia).

This species is the Telopea Speciosissima Oreades - the common name is Shady Lady White and is a more prolific flowering variety.
I definitely want to add these to my garden!
