If you have ever ridden horses and somehow been tossed from the saddle, you may appreciate this painting! The scene was set on a cold and drizzly day in Angaston SA.
The story and composition conceived from all my early years of horsey shenanigans; drizabones and cowboy hats, a sip of port to warm your insides, magnificent iconic Australian gum trees, campfire stories, magpies warbling and of course - falling off and chasing down the bolting horse.
